Camp Abilities Podcast Part 3

I hope everyone has been enjoying the Camp Abilities podcast! We are excited to be giving you the third and final episode of podcast episodes which focus on Camp Abilities! This episode discusses some of the greatest moment each director has experienced in their own camps and we conduct a care to share, which is an guided discussion which occurs at the end of the day at each Camp Abilities.

I was recently emailed a very special video which is an overview of the field of adapted physical education. This video is very comprehensive and is a great resource to share with teachers, administrators and parents. It was created by David Worst, a graduate student from University of Wisconsin Lacrosse.

Below we have included two videos which show some of the sports which are played at most Camp Abilities throughout the world. The first video shows the game of Beep Baseball, a sport which utilizes a beeping baseball and bases which buzz.

The second video shows the game of Goalball, where the objective of the game is to roll a ball, which contains bells in it, past the opponents goal line. To stop the ball the defense must try to stop the ball using their entire bodies.
