Podcast 17: LIVE in Denton Texas! Service Delivery in Adapted Physical Education

I am extremely excited to be bringing you all the very first live recording What's New In Adapted Physical Education podcast!! Now when I say live, we mean that it was recorded with a panel of experts and we had a live audience viewing and interacting with the panel. The podcast was able to have this opportunity thanks in large part of being able to present at the 3rd annual Adapted Physical Education conference at Texas Woman's University. The podcast had two parts: one on service delivery and another on behavior management.

In this episode we specifically discuss how to appropriately place students in PE, how the law relates to service delivery, types of APE models of service delivery, placement options, and of course the topic of related vs direct services pops up again in our discussionsFor the first podcast we had an all star panel as usual. We had Brad Weiner, a now three time guest and former National APE teacher of the year; Dr. Linda Hilgenbrinck, also a former national SHAPE APE teacher of the year, an APE teacher in Denton schools, and a Member at Large for NCPEID; Angela Cambell who is an APE teacher in Coppell ISD and a Special Olympics head of delegations; and lastly Vicki Foederer who is an APE teacher, Special Olympics director; and on the Kidnetics Games committee.

In addition to the live podcast, I also created this word cloud which shows all of the topics we have covered in the 17 podcast we have now recorded.
