Heidi Ambrosius is a CAPE certified adapted physical education specialist at Moreno Valley
USD and adjunct professor at California State, San Bernardino. She received her bachelor’s
degree from CSUF, Master’s degree from UCLA and is now a member of the NCPEID
Membership Committee.
Steve Eggerichs is an adventure coordinator and APE teacher at Holmen
High School in Wisconsin. He received his bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University
of Wisconsin - La Crosse. He currently teaches the Trails Program and is involved in Universal
Adventure and Outdoor Pursuits and the Transition Program.
NCPEID is the National Consortium for Physical Education for Individuals with Disabilities. They
play a major role in shaping the direction of adapted physical education and adapted physical
activity, as well building and promoting APE & APA programs and services.
A blog that tries to cover subjects pertaining to Adapted Physical Education(APE) and spreading the word of the importance of APE, also utilizes podcast to inform the community about the benefit of APE
